Our Head Chef & Italian Heritage
Raised in Umbria, Italy, John Thomas grew up in the kitchen, inspired by his Nonna’s love for cooking. From an early age, he learned that food is more than flavour — it’s tradition, family and a way to share joy.
He later refined his craft working with one of Italy’s most renowned catering companies, Preludio, delivering high-end catering for events, weddings and large celebrations.
Now based in Sydney, Chef John brings this experience to EATALO, creating dishes that honour his roots while adding a modern touch — from café dining to office catering and corporate events.
